Acute Stroke Thrombolysis and Thrombectomy Decision
A branching clinical case simulation for a patient presenting with sudden right-sided weakness and aphasia for 90 minutes. Take a history, examine, investigate, diagnose and treat while the patient responds to every decision, then see the score by clinical domain with the reasoning for each mark.

The presentation
Margaret Johnson, a 71-year-old woman, is brought to the Emergency Department by ambulance. Her daughter reports that she was last seen well 90 minutes ago, at which point she went to the bathroom and emerged with right-sided weakness and inability to speak. She has a history of atrial fibrillation and hypertension. She is currently in the emergency department with you. Your task is to assess and manage this time-critical presentation.
What this case teaches
Recognise stroke and time-critical assessment; exclude hypoglycaemia; obtain urgent CT; apply thrombolysis criteria and contraindications; refer for thrombectomy where eligible.
